Jayant Sheth serves as the Treasurer of the Texas Asian Republican Assembly Austin Chapter. He is the founding president of the Austin chapter of TARA. Mr. Sheth is also a precinct chair-elect in Travis county. He is active in an Indian American organisation whose goal is to get more India Americans involved in politics and civic affairs of the USA. Mr. Sheth is retired after being a structural engineer for over 40 years and is married with two grown children.
